A journey through Iraq turns into a journey to oneself when a disenchanted Kurdish-Iraqi soldier and an Arab driver are sent to deliver the body of a dead colleague to his family. Ex-Dictator Sadam Hussein is omnipresent: on the radio, on television and staring down from plinths. It is a long journey – and it is pathed with many obstacles.
