Inspector Pokorny prefers his rum and tea without the tea. He has been transferred against his will and a series of murders is interrupting his hate of the petit bourgeoisie. No one has investigated the abysmal depths of the Austrian soul as assiduously as the late Helmut Qualtinger (died 1986) in his role as the Inspector.
