19.07.2012 - This year NDR (Norddeutscher Rundfunk) will be sponsoring the NDR Nachwuchspreis (Young Talent Award) at Filmfest Hamburg. The award includes prize money of €5,000. During the festival, twelve films nominated for the prize will be screened.

07.02.2012 - Filmfest Hamburg is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.  At the same time, young audiences can be equally proud to celebrate an anniversary in 2012.  The „Michel“ – Hamburg’s Children and Youth Film Festival – celebrates its 10th anniversary. Anniversary celebrations will take place between September 27th to October 6th, 2012.
